Awww man you are a meanie but you really know your s***.
I've been lurking around on your site for a year now (Yes, I'm a "secret admirer" . It's a period in which I've tore down practically everything that I stood for and reconstructed them carefully.
You taught me a method of thinking that actually makes sense...and that is absolutely priceless.
You've got yourself another disciple, man.
P.S. I knew something about Leninism just doesn't add up!

Redstar2000! You have made such a lasting impression on me, I have to say you are one of the few people who have made a difference in my thinking who isn't some old (okay, take the old out ), dead guy who wrote some books on theory. Your straight-forward, simple way of speaking is the best ingredient of all.
Of course, I find it sad that you are convinced that you will not see the movement you have fought for all your life, but you can count on us, the younger comrades with bright minds and strong will to carry on! Sharing your experince and trial by error will be a vauable asset to us in future events.
-In Solidarity!

I enjoy the layout of this site, it's clear, clean and to the point. The stylist choices redstar employs are very useful for internet reading. I often find it very difficult to read articles off a computer screen, but redstar's use of boldface, italics and quotation marks make for an eye-catcher which helps me focus, and keeps me focused on major points.
I myself used to be a Stalinist when I first discovered "communism". I would like to say that this site almost singlehandidly brought me over to more anarcho-communist views.
I believe Redstar would best be classified as a historical materialist. Such a definition is almost literally "marxism without the c***".
All the useful tools of marxism are clearly laid out here, make the best of them!

Hey, hey there, comerad
Still reppin' the true spirit of the movement, I see? Well, I guess you get alot of this "unconditional support", that alot of us commies and radicals do, but hear me out.... Although I was banned from 'RevLeft' (Yeah, I called gays for 'f**s', but I don't hate 'em, I just think it's equally as good/bad word..and an actual homosexual person didn't even care, yet the rules did. Same s***, different day... You know I have to be firm in my stance) and went to a seperate "band" of people (Rebel Alliance) I still believe ya, "good ol' RedStar", sure knows how to get things right and put people in their place when they try to be the overdog. I'll invite ya to a discussion anyday, just go to my guestbook and start any trouble any-day - I'm prepared...heck, even read a book on arguing. Well, I guess it's hard to be calm in debates of personal-appealing cases. So long, warrior

RedStar2000 is by far my favorite writer. Many people say what they wish communism would be like, RS2k says what communism is likley to be like. He doesn't act as if he is enlightened, but instead puts forth some of the best leftist writings of our (all?) time. He's made lasting impressions on me, and not just politically. A RedStarist party may never exist (hopefully a 'neo-communst' one like he described will), and that's probably for the better, but if there ever was I'd be the first to join.

Hey man,
I've been into Marxism and related topics for the better part of 2 years now, and eventually grew to become very strongly Stalinist, quoting Molotov and Anna Louise Strong out my ass...since about September or so I've been questioning Leninism and around december, with the help of your papers, I determined that I'm most definitly anti-Leninist. I've been really sympathetic with council communism recently...anyway man, I just wanted to say thanks...a lot of people don't have good stuff like yours out there...and if it is...it's usually only a book and they write as if they were Hegel or Marx themselves. I think you should try and do some more stuff on the youth...most of the people I know who read you are all youth in highschool like me and you definitly have an impact on some of us...

Ahh, one of my favorite theorists here, even if I don't agree with everything. I do agree with most of what you say though.
Take care comrade and in solidarity!
